Why Peace Corps Prep?

Ready for your global adventure? Take the first step with the Peace Corps Prep Program, a partnership between MU and the U.S. Peace Corps to prepare undergraduates for global service. Since 1961, more than 200,000 Peace Corps volunteers have served in 140 countries, including 1,000 MU alumni.

In the Peace Corps Prep Program you will:

  • Engage in undergraduate academic coursework and service-learning field experiences that emphasize community engagement and public service;
  • Achieve the essential skills and personal profile to excel in global service activities;
  • Prepare to undertake the Peace Corps application process;
  • Develop competitive, long-term career skills;
  • Get engaged in your community at home and abroad.
